Last night my gorgeous lady came to pick me up and took me back to this house that she is house-sitting for 3 months. It belongs to her husband's parents and this place is like... immaculate. It's kind of in a rural area between Hamilton and Burlington, and it's set back from the road about 50 feet or so. You have to drive down this long winding driveway to get to the house. The place was just beautiful. I got an innate sense that it was haunted as well. It didn't help that as soon as you walk into the front foyer there is a 6'5" metal suit of armour. It startled me when I walked in the door, almost had a bit of a heart attack because it looked like someone was just standing there waiting for us when we came in, heh.
Wonderful night with JZ. We spent the evening on the couch telling secrets and having girl-talk, and of course, as is per usual with she and I, the conversation was heavily leaning on the sexual side. But that's us for you. No funny business but it was bubbling under the surface. Our chemistry is ridiculous. I often think about the night we spent together in great fondness. Hopefully we'll be able to extend on that soon. There are certain frustrating complications though.
Anyway, tonight I am attending the launch for Blackbird Studios' spring/summer 2010 clothing line/catalogue. Then tomorrow night I'm working this big party at the bar. It's a Renegade Karaoke night (so fun) and also the Hamilton Roller Girls are hosting a huge Mardi Gras bash. This means I FINALLY have an excuse to wear one of my masquerade masks outside of the house! Haha. Clearly I am pumped for that.
2010 is giving me good vibes, and I already feel like I am getting to know myself better, and accepting myself (all of myself) more wholly than ever before.
Good things are happening.
