There's nothing wrong with not wanting to have kids. Some people have the parental drive, and others don't. The world is overpopulated enough as is. Don't feel bad for wanting to live your own life. Some people will try to make you feel like you are being selfish for not bringing a new life into the world. But isn't it just as selfish to create a new human being just so you can feel complete? For me, I know it's not what I want and therefore would not be the right decision. If someone wants to have kids, they should have them. If they don't, they shouldn't. Makes complete sense to me.

Also, plenty of people manage to have happy and long-lasting relationships without ever getting married. If marriage is such a sure-fire way to stay with someone, then why are there so many divorces? Making any partnership work is the result of patience and persistence of both partners. I'm married and I would say the one advantage of being married is that it forces you to take a step back and evaluate the situation when things start to go sour so that you can fix the problem together, rather than just saying, "fuck it, I'm not happy, so I'm bolting." Still, if it's not for you, it's not for you. Don't let people pressure you about it. It's not a decision that should be hastily made.
