I've had this weird feeling all day. It's kinda like something isn't right in the world. Perhaps something isn't right in my life and I'm unhappy about it. Like most of the time my mind has drifted off and it's doing it's thing without informing me what it is. But I just got the message. Yes just now at 3 in the a.m. I feel broken-hearted. I have to agree with Jerry. We're starting a new grouping exclusively for casual magic players. I don't know who's in and who's out yet. It will be by invitation only - I still need to get everyone their invitations. But I have a pretty good idea of what I want it to be. If you're interested let me know.

"Casual" Magic doesn't interest me. There's not enough challenge there. in a very Casual game any time I want I can pull out a deck and say BOOM I win. How can you get any satisfaction out of a game where you're not trying very hard and you're not giving it your best? Playing a half assed deck may be fun for some people I get that, but I don't play to have something to do while I talk with my friends. I play because I love the challenge and the competition. When those two things are taken out of the game I don't see a reason to play other than to just waste some time and I can do that for much cheeprer elsewhere.

ummm well you know they could be better. You use cards that give you opponets a chance because that's the kind of player you are. It seems to me that a deck is only part of what it could be until you tune it the the point where it goes for the throat every time with out asking for or granting any quarter. You like to use rarely seem cards and make them do very tricky and devestationg things but it's not like you're really trying to crush your opponets into the dust.

If you really feel that way, then yeah I'd say it's time for you to quit or move on to type 1.
