Stephanie's Adventures: The search for the Elusive Valentine's Day White Chocolate.
Yep...I think the title says it all. What happened? Well this is what...
A few weeks ago, I noticed that all the Christmas Chocolate was on sale. I saw that they were selling Lindt chocolate...WHITE chocolate. Now here is a little known fact that I know some of you know. Anthony only likes the taste of white chocolate. This does not mean he won't EAT any chocolate...cause he will...but what he PREFERS is white. So at the time I considered buying it for him...for Valentine's Day even. But I decided against it, thinking I could come back later. Well, later turned into much later than I initially thought. So I walked into town after my Greek Tragedy class to get said chocolate and a bunch of other things that are lacking in relevance except that it was convenient for me to get them. So I went into all three pharmacies, the provigo and found...NOTHING...NOT A THING. Of course the people that helped me were trying to force me to buy something else, so I was getting upset...cause I did not know what else to get him Valentine's Day-wise. I gave up finally and just came back to rez. On the way I commented this to a few pepople. One of several reasons was given for this phenomenon.
1. White chocolate is rare....: Okay this idea does kind of work...but with all the stupid commercialization of Valentine's day, you would think people would take advantage.
2. White chocolate sucks: I do not agree with this remark...but it could be that lots of people don't like white chocolate...but if that is the case...WHY MAKE IT AT ALL?
3. People are dumb: Either people have not realized that they could exploit white chocolate during Valentine's Day...and that people actually LIKE white chocolate.
Either way, it seems almost like racism to me... or chocolatisme...I mean...White Chocolate is only good for CHRISTMAS...take about a Stereotyping
