A Brand New Day (19th June, morning)
When Blaise woke up and looked outside, he was surprised: it was morning! The only mornings he had seen after leaving Hogwarts had been before going to bed and not when waking up.
After taking a shower and shaving, Blaise put on a black silk kimono with a multicoloured dragon embroidery that was hanging on the door, and opened the door carefully. Pointing his wand at the corridor, Blaise looked for any killing carpet or abusive chair, when a tinny House Elf walked by.
'Hey! You... thing... Elf!'
The Elf ran to him and made a huge courtesy.
'Is Theodore up?'
The Elf nodded.
'Is his friend, Draco Malfoy, around?'
The Elf shook his head.
'Good. Then take me to the garden, through a safe path, and then go call Theodore.'
Blaise followed the Elf through a path that seemed four times longer than required. Once in the garden, he waited for his host.
