Bill rolled over in bed and still felt like he was in pain. The vague recollections from last night were few and far between and he wondered if it was because he was still in a fair amount of pain. He ached and that was all. Bill was also glad to see the extra body hair and faded away from his chest. That was a decided plus.
His entire body merely ached like a son-of-a... Bill smiled at the expression. He may not have changed, but his body certainly felt as if it had. He swore that, for a moment of nearly five minutes, his left shoulder had been completely dislocated, then popped back in on its own.
Talk about your painful nights. He didn't want to think of the various bruises that probably covered his body. He didn't know where they came from. Maybe it was better not to ask. He knew he didn't change and if his mind had been a little more than wolfish, well... that was for him to know and to figure out one of these days.
Summoning a spare piece of parchment and quill, Bill sent owls to everyone in the family. Getting up was too much for him right now.
Everyone,
Yes, I'm fine. No I didn't change. I'm in a fair bit of pain right now and am going back to sleep to sleep this off. There's no need to worry. As I said, I'm fine, and will most likely be out of pain in a couple of days. I'll ask, no visitors for a couple of days. I need to recouperate.
Again, I am fine and there's nothing wrong. I'm just sore. That's all.
Love,
Bill
The owl sent, Bill rolled over (hiding a wince) and went back to sleep.
