Clearing out the dead weight.
In which Andrew, finding that his his furniture [mostly bachelor pad stuff], it not really suited for the adoption or display for the lifestyle in which he has accustomed to, decides to get rid of some of the things in his apartment/condo, and looks for other who might want it.
4 [4] 6' bookshelves, [perfectly sized with at the moment for gaming books] with four independent shelves in each bookcase, about 2-3 feet wide,]...mind you, I've been keeping books and other things on them, but I need to get them out of my house soon.
[They were replaced with 7 IKEA black bookshelves that are 7 feet tall and which I now store most of my book collection]
13" Color TV: The plastic buttons are still gone, but if you use a non-conductive instrument, or the remote control to change the channel, you're fine. [chuckles]
[Replaced by a 15" Color TV without remote, but which works rather decently]
4 non-working VCRs [they eat tapes, but they can be used to change channels just fine]
[replaced with a DVR/DVD/Tape player as of this upcoming Friday]
There are other things, but they can't be removed yet....at least not until I actually ante out the money for their replacement [queen-sized futon without frame, to be replaced with King Size Bed w/frame], Slightly-White couch & loveseat [cat marks, kool-aid stain notwithstanding].

I know that I can fit ONE white bookcase into my car at a time [barely]....or if someone wants to help me move them....or come pick them up...but I don't want to trash these things. The Packrat in me won't let me do it yet, I'd much rather they went into someone's home...
