Went to my parents house today to get my mail and surprise, surprise! There was a Cingular Bill there.
I thought it should of been just something towards the effect of thanks for using our service and hope you will come back or some shit.
Nope.
A bill from Cingular for $367.60 for early cancelation fees. $175 per phone plus the taxes for these fees.
We called the day before we changed over to Altell and also prior to that to make sure that it was fine that we changed carrier and that our contract was up and that there were going to be no early cancelation fees and that the numbers were going to be portable and ok and such. They stated our contract was up, tried to get us to continue with Cingular but fuck no and it was going to go all smooth.
So I get the bill today (if was sent about a month ago) all head spinny and such. Go to the store and well they can't do shit for an inactive account. Call the 1-800 number only to find that they aren't open on sundays.
I'm all head spinny and shit.
