My LAST uncensored creative outlet...
Yes, LJ has become my last creative outlet were I can be my fun, uncensored self. See, my mother has invaded facebook, and she likes to check up on my status. So when I say in my status that I'm pissed, or whatever, I get a phone call or an email asking me what's up...it especially sucks when I say something like "My mom fucking sucks ass". Yeah...anyway, we're pretty much settled here in Urbana, more or less. The work situation sucks...I'm the assistant manager at the Casual Male XL in Champaign. It's not bad work, but it's part time. The whole KO Fusion thing didn't work out; and I'm honestly not expecting to hear from any other restaurant, at not until the holidays are over. Even then, the post-xmas season in the service industry is traditionally horrible. Ever wonder why places give you a bonus when you buy a gift card? It's to get your butt into the restaurant when you should be watching your credit cards. Take it from someone who has been in the industry for a LONG time...it works. I'm going to check out UPS soon; again part time work, but it does pay well.
Other news, my laptop is no longer functioning. I've been told that the motherboard is possibly shot, the video card is fried, or the video memory is gone...I know it's not the hard drive, as I just replaced it. I've also been told that basically it's fucked, but I've also been told that it can be fixed over the phone...I dunno, and honestly, I don't really care. I can turn the 150GB hard-drive into an external drive. I'd like to get it fixed, but it's really not a pressing issue...both of us seem to be getting by just fine using only Gretchen's laptop. (which I am using now) Oh well...again, I'm not really all that concerned about it. I've gotten 5+ years out of it...it has served me well, both at home and abroad. I'm going to go back to playing MapleStory...maybe I'll update more later. BTW, if anyone DOES play MS, my screen-name is J3lackRose or ZeldasVVrath (that's two v's, not a W) Peace out.
