I first saw this at a con in South Bend, Indiana in October 2003. I thought it was a hoot. I had such a great time at the con that it was enough to convert me to anime fandom and sour me on drum corps fandom for years. In fact, the con was such fun that not even my car starting to die on me (all the seals blew on the way home and I had to completely refill the engine oil; the car was dead within a week) could spoil the experience.
