Two items related to fandom tonight. First, when my daughter Kelly and I started watching anime in 2000, we watched "The Vision of Escaflowne" and were thrilled. We vowed to watch it again. We never did, at least together. In spring of 2007, I was with Kelly when she bought a boxed set of the entire series for very cheap at the Best Buy in Taylor. ( Read more... )

I am still somewhat mystified as to why I even have a Fandom Wank Wiki. ED sure. Trollcity. But I'm not anything close to being a 'fanboy' or the like.

The Fandom Wank Wiki also covers people who get mentioned in the other wank communities, such as clairvoyantwank, i_wank, and otf_wank. You have been reported on in all three of them, along with fandom_lounge, a general fan community. Actually, the fandom_lounge report is the least mean of all of them. They actually felt sad that commiejournal died. Running out of money wasn't funny.
