Fandom meta
Two items related to fandom tonight. First, when my daughter Kelly and I started watching anime in 2000, we watched "The Vision of Escaflowne" and were thrilled. We vowed to watch it again. We never did, at least together. In spring of 2007, I was with Kelly when she bought a boxed set of the entire series for very cheap at the Best Buy in Taylor. By the end of that year, she stopped talking to me. ;_; Just the same, I decided that, if she was watching the series again, I would, too, so last week I bought a box set for myself at the Best Buy in Brighton. I haven't opened it up yet, but it's sitting right next to my CPU. Now, if only I could get a good copy of all the DVDs of Revolutionary Girl Utena...
Finally, I achived a minor milestone. I am now listed among the Official Fandom Wank Males. It only took them two years to get around to it.
