So, got the biopsy results today--doc's decided it was so damned weird, they sent it to another lab for a second opinion.
THEN, the doc called, said he wants me to come in for another biopsy tomorrow(tuesday)...several deep punch biopsies, where they basically take a freakin core sample.. :(
Naturally, i google images'd that...and really wish i hadnt. :((( my mind gave me gruesome enough ideas, but the diagram of the procedure took it to the next level of horror.(for those who don't know what this entails: doc drives a slender, sharp, hollow cylinder into the flesh, then rotates it. The cylinder is removed and the plug of flesh extracted, doc then cuts the attached flesh off with shears.) Srsly, wtf kind of barbaric, medieval shit is this?! That's how you take effing core samples of earth and ice for carbon-dating! O.o
