The other day Strange_Cube posted about the snow. And I have to say, I agree.
A couple of days worth of slogging through the snow is fine. Doing that every several weeks in the winter is expected. But this-it snows, it freezes, it melts, it freezes, it snows on top of the ice...
It's morbidly funny the once or twice the ground freezes and everyone has to crawl everywhere on their hand and knees. But this is relentless. I've taken to having to give myself an extra 5+ minutes to get places because I know I'll either be going the long way to circumvent a particularly treacherous patch, or I'll be very gingerly padding across a slick on which I've found myself.
It's just no good.
I'm tired of my boots leaking and my feet getting wet; I'm tired of the mud slush coating my pants; I'm tired of never being rid of the salt deposits on my apartment floor; I'm tired of digging through snow drifts to get to my trashcans; I'm tired of everything being slippery.
I'm not saying I'm tired of winter, or even of the East Cost; but enough with the inclement weather already!
