Bush does it again
According to the front page of yesterday's Spokesman Review, Governor Dirk Kempthorne of Idaho is the top pick to replace Whitman as the head of the EPA. That's like appointing Enron Execs as secretaries of the national treasury. Kempthorne tried to get the EPA to leave Idaho and ignore the lead deposits from mining waste in the Silver Valley (ARRRGH).
