Yay for visits today! My dad visited and restocked our pantry and bought me lunch. Showed him the glassblowing studio and put some of my stuff out for sale. Just a couple marbles and roses. Not too worried if they didn't sell, though it would be nice.
Need to get back into the swing of things in glassblowing - I have been unable to blow a damn thing lately, and have been resorting to paperweights/marbles and roses to feel productive.
Also, stained glass is going well. My new piece is difficult but fun! Need to go in there tomorrow and put in some work to make up for missing that class Thursday. Same with ceramics. (Which, may I say, I am getting better at. Still pretty sucky; I don't work well with my hands. But I don't quite hate the class any more, as I can make passable cylinders.)
Going to apply for some jobs in the area; trying to work on campus just isn't structured enough for me right now... I need the motivation to go to work, and the theatre is just too laid back to do that. Also, somewhere off campus pays better.
Just hanging out tonight. Should go bother Chad and Jiggy and be social...
