THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!
Dearest Fellow Mascians, Our fears of a Padre Faura High School are closer, and worse than what we have imagined:

"...Lim also announced that plans were also underway to rename the Manila Science High School (MSHS) located along Taft Avenue as "President Cory Aquino High School (formerly Manila Science High School )."
I mean, in all respect to the late Corazon Aquino, wasn't her lavish funeral and numerous honors enough? She brought back democracy to this country, yes... But aren't there But why, of all things, must the Mayor of Manila degrade the Science High School status of my alma mater? Is it because we are that expendable? If he is so eager to please the aquino's memory, couldn't he just build a school from scratch?
...I bet this is just a ploy to suck up to the influential Aquino Family (many people who know me will say this is out of character for me but I am really pissed right now).
Although the article states that only the annex of MSHS might be renamed as an independent HS, many MSHS students will be forced into enrolling into the said annex. Which basically undermines their right as Mascians.
