Earlier tonight while I was walking one of the bridges between Rizal Hall and Gusaling Andres Bonifacio, I saw the sign of the Pearl Manila, one of the nearby hotels... The sign, however, was missing a P. And so it read:
THE EARL MANILA
This image immediately came to my mind:
It really, really amused me. Dennis, of course, already beat me to the idea for a couple days now without my knowledge, but you could just imagine my reaction when I saw it...
"The Earl is in manila... ZOMG INNOCENCE INVOCATE!!!"
Now if you were wondering why I was at campus at night (It was around six in the evening and so I would have seen the neon lights), blame my schedule. On tuesdays I have Biochem 14.1 from 1PM-7PM. Most of the time we finish before 5, so I get to go home early. But then, this was a very long class, and I had to go to back and forth between RH (where our main classroom was) and the equipment room at GAB (where the others were finishing the last part of their experiments) to make sure that nothing goes wrong with the spectrophotometer.
They handed over the biochem 14 exam results earlier today. Out of the 38 who took the exam, only eight passed. I'm one of them. I don't mean to brag, though. I'm just happy that I passed such an epic exam. I admit that most of that was just plain intelligent guesses on my part coupled with a bit of luck, but I can still take credit for myself, can't I?
...After all, Biochem chose me.
