I miss you
I've been home since last Thursday. Leaving you behind with your husband, son, and daughter-in-law was ridiculously difficult. They love you just as much as I, if not for quite so long.

I was too rough
When I changed your bandages tonight, I pulled off your scabs in the front. You nearly passed out or threw up from the pain. I am an idiot. We both cried. You hobbled over to the bench to sit down as I soaked your back and front with wet washclothes. I should have been more careful.

Finally met with the endocrinologist this Monday at 7:45 am, though I missed the installation of a bronze statue of my youngest daughter because of it :( After going through the entire medical sheet and looking at my earlier and current blood tests, the endo's PA suggested that my symptoms seem most likely to be Hashimoto's Thyroditis.
