(no subject)
2nd day of nationals.. still kind of suffering from the insomnia game, but i think its more than I dont want to be a blabbering drunk in the next room like some people (Steven, Jeffrey, etc) and I want to go to EXPLORE tomorrow, an APO LEadership course.
I SAW ANDREW ERWIN FROM UVA. That makes me happy. He was part of me, Ryan and Josh's gang back when he went to VT.. then he became a "snooty" UVA person and thats cool, but yay. I like seeing old friends. I tried going up to see him tonight, but apparently he's taken up the job as a security officer. Yay Floyd people.
We ate at this really good spaghetti place called "The Old Spaghetti Factory" and it was well, pretty good at dealing Spaghetti. Who would have thought? Then I had a shake for dinner from Cold Stone and it was delicious and I will be going there again. Yay cold stone, even though they most def had a 5 or 6 year old operating the cash register which im fairly certain is illegal everywhere. Like the other girl had to tell her to count out a 10 and a 5 as change. I didn't say anything because I was suspicous that it was a poor mom and daughter--one of those cant make ends meet situation and while the action is unethical in general.. at least they are together. I'm still kind of split though.
Then there was the opening ceremony which was in the ballroom.. they showed a video of fireworks being lit off live on one of the news channels, but I thought it was kind of pointless since the majority of the fraternity that the fireworks was for was indoors at the time? Kind of seems to defeat the purpose maybe?
Already met some cool people, including some brothers from KEnt state.. who even though were nice somewhat, I could sense their "Ohio-ness attitude" that I described in a previous entry. Yay.
OK time to go... no Justin to talk to tonight, but maybe someone else will come online.
