Yunho and Yoochun are both men- prideful men. It doesn't always make for an easy relationship. They try to one-up each other all the time-I got more face-time on camera; I ran faster than you; my rap is cooler; fuck no, I'm topping- The list goes on and on. They're stubborn to fault and don't like to admit it when they're wrong- especially to each other- and they're so, so afraid of screwing up with each other, and half the time their arguments end in comparisons to JaeSu and Min7en. Those are nights they don't talk.
Those nights, everyone hurts.
It's hard for them to make up after fights (though it's harder to stay mad), and it's hard not be jealous (what with JaeHo and YooSu and occasionally they're jealous of the other couples and their success). It's even harder when they hear others say they look better apart than together. There's a constant struggle to be just what they are.
The sad thing is, they're used to it; they've been given that shit all of their lives.
But when it comes down to it, Yunho can't stand when Yoochun cries- it makes him just as sad; he hates it when Yoochun's lonely- he tries extra-hard to be all the family Yoochun needs; and he loves it when Yoochun's happy and smiling and safe and love, love, loved.
Even if it's only him. Maybe especially in that case.
When it comes down to it, Yoochun worries when Yunho is hurt- he would wish it on himself if it would help; Yoochun gets mad when Yunho's father is no help- he understands this case and would fix it if he could; he loves it when Yunho's healthy, having fun, and is loved, very, very, loved.
Especially if most of it comes from him. Err.. even if it's only him.
They've learned to meet each other halfway. After all, that's how it started- it took two of them to connect a kiss.
