so i am going to the Metallica concert tomorrow. i am psyched. i am thinking it will be the greatest event of my life. i even left class early today so i can get a little extra sleep tonight. their new album is awesome. also, ACDC just released a new album, i am liking what i am hearing so far, and whne i have time i am going to get it.

started reading the Book of Mormon in spanish. it is interesting. when you learn a latin based language you realize how truley broken english is. i wish we had a phoenetic alphabet. also, there is like, 5 different ways of saying "it came to pass", so its more specific. on a similar note, i had my first performance with the ward choir on sunday. it went fairly well i think. i am enjoying it a lot i think.

the election is starting to wear on me. honestly i will be happy when it is over. people get crazy when it comes to politics, especially extremists. it saddens me that no one cares about the constitution anymore. everyone is only interested in promoting their own interests over the good of the country. i changed my vote on prop 102 (the arizona marriage amendment), only because i am against the "progressives" trying to force others to believe as they believe, adn to recognize homosexuality as valid. to underscore my point, i posted an article about how the leftists are accomplishing this by forcing homosexualiyt to be taught as ok in schools, and even trying to take away tax exemptions from religions that do not allow same sex marriage in their institutions. there was no gay bashing in this article, but i got emails from a couple of people telling me how predjudiced and intolerant it was, and tehrefore i am by posting it. intolerant? me? the same guy who was willing to go against what many people in his church were voting for because i felt the government needs to stay out of marriage and sex? go figure.
