I Really Don't Like This feeling.
Hoooookaaaay... kids... never... ever... take 2 extra strength excedrin that are supposed to be taken every 6 hours... because... if you take this medication like that... you will start feeling... really ... really... trippy. and not good... unless youre a drug addict and like feeling like youve just walked completely dehydrated across the antarctic... naked... while sucking on an icecube... cause im so numb and when i move my eyes, i feel like the room behind me swivels and the momentum can be felt in the back of my head. my lips are numb and feel enourmous. i get chills running down my spine, and they arent the good kind. i kinda want to go vomit, but i just had a sandwich from subway, and i have a feeling that it will help me feel less like shit by obsorbing the meds and shit.
other than that, im kickass. the battle was a hell of a lot of fun yesterday. i was supposed to come back last night after it but i found out that greg wasnt coming back with me if i went home at 1115 because he was spending the night. and i wasnt a fan of climbing on a bus in the middle of boston at damn near midnight with all those creepy people for 2 hours. i dont even enjoy that that much during the day time. its kinda creepy. yesterday on the way down there were these 2 dudes from somewhere upnorth that i could nearly promise you were going to boston to bring drugs back to maine. these bastards were SkEtChY!!!! who goes to boston from northern maine without bags anyway? but the ride down was fun anyway, especially since greg was there. it was alot less scary compared to the first time i went down there by myself. it was nice having a traveling partner. gregs a great man. i bow to you, sir.
we played halo 2 on XboX live when we got to emerson (what else is new?) against these french kids, and they were insanely good. it was funny cause matt mocked their language before the battle started, and they immediately had like 20 points on us within the first 2 minutes.
later, the battle got underway and it went well. we played our set first and we didnt mess up except for once during the first song, and it was johns flub, not mine (phew). the other bands were good, with the exception of pinocchio syndrome because they were just loud smashing and bad chords. i still give them props cause they were nice enough to let us use their equipment because we didnt have anything minus guitars and a keyboard. thanks dudes, rockon.
so this band "riot riot" won. they were pretty good. im not a big fan of their genre, but they still did pretty well.
the prize for winning was an add in this magazine's website, 3 songs on the website's demo disc, and a bunch of teeshirts from a radio station. i have to say that that would have been a sweet prize, but concidering that our band is not hardcore metal, like the other bands and the website, we would have looked really awkward being a pop/alternative band on this HC website. at least i got to play a concert, cause ive been dying to for a while.
it was great seeing matt and john and andy again in boston, because i loooooove them. and boston is a great great city *home sweet home*. and one of the best parts is that i got to see lindsey! wheee! if sunshine could walk, talk, and smile, she'd be it.
it was SOOOOOOOO nice walking around the city today on my way to the subway with 6R36. it had to be damn near 65 degrees outside. soooo beautiful. have i mentioned that i love boston? GODDAMNIT BERKLEE JUST FRIGGEN ACCEPT ME! I NEED A PLACE TO LIVE NEXT YEAR!!!
its a freakin small world. as greg and i were walking from kennedy hall to the green line, we saw someone who i havent seen since they graduated 2 years ago, heather adams. i didnt even reccognize her when i first looked at her. it was funny cause i was standing in line getting some aspirin (bad idea), and being the curious man i am, i turned around and glanced at her, and she did the same. suddenly, i was like "...wait... i know you!" twas funny.
lost is a good show. i like it.
im so tired, and i feel sick again. stupid aspirin.
but its getting better.
Reel big fish this saturday! wheeee! and i have the car back so i can drive kids!!! saweeeeeeet.
