I wanted to capture the fleeting moments of connection that Dexter shares with these people who get to see his inner monster before they are (directly or indirectly) destroyed by it, leaving Dexter alone in the world.
Author's Note: I'm a new Dexter fan and I've only seen the first two seasons of the show so far. So no spoilers in the comments please!
