Here in Australia, as in most Commonwealth countries, it's Armistice, or Remembance Day - we call it both over here. It's the day, 11th November 1918, at 11am (GMT) when the armistice for World War I came into effect. It's held in memorial of the members of their armed forces who have died in the line of duty.
