I love classic, old school science fiction.

I didn't want to post this on the day, but I think this is a touching, poignant, yet somehow uplifting story based around 9/11 by Stephen King. It's from his 2008 anthology, Just Before Sunset. This is not a review of the World War Z movie. Just thought I'd be clear on that. The movie, while using some elements (a miniscule amount) found in the book, is absolutely NOTHING like it.
