Just a quick one - I submitted an entry on lj_scribe last week - just a little 8 line poem. The prompt was the 4 elements and a hula hoop.
I was once again on the insomnia train, and in a silly mood, and a little one popped into my head, so I thought I'd enter it.

That's my fave, too - I love a lot of the vintage stuff - they're posed so beautifully, aren't they?

LOVED the poem. A GEM. How do you do that? I can't write anything decent that's less than 5000 words. So short, so succinct - beautiful.

Of course, I'm sure you included a compound predicate, so it is ultimately crap. ;-)
