It’s has been long time in the coming for this update. I have been slow about it not even knowing where to start most days. Things here are pretty good on the all in all.
The hubby -He has lost over 235 lbs now. He is still losing slowly now, but its happening. He and clothes are like children in reverse. He has plenty but every three months things are way too big for him. He is doing well though. Sept. 13 was his one year since surgery anniversary date.
The children- They are smarter than ever. One has been accepted into the gifted program in school because she tends to apply herself more and the other is ticked about it, though he is now understanding that had he applied himself the same as her he would be there too. They are growing like unchecked weeds in a huge field. Outside of a few nasty colds all has been well with them.
Me- Well I am doing ok. The Dr.’s tell me I am going to ok. My GYN said no cancer, YAY. My Rheumatologist says the swelling is normal and he keeps switching my meds around. He is good though. He listens to the problems and we work them out one at a time. My weight is an issues and I have to work on that. However I can’t do certain things anymore at all, so exercise is rough though I still have to do it. Walking is my best bet, but that hurts my feet, which brings me to the newest one set of funky stuff the Dr. recently found wrong with me and sent me to the therapy it’s called Plantar fasciitis (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plantar_fasciitis ), is a problem with the feet and its annoying and slightly painful. Therapy is working out pretty well and its surely helping with the problem and that leads me to being able to do a bit more for the weight problem. So all in all I am doing really well. I have my same old issues that we have been working on these last 4 years and I am finally starting feel like I might be able to have a life again outside of pain and worry.
Well I will try and get a new post out a bit more often.
