OMG for the start overs! or COFFEE and KNITTING = LOVE
Started on the Purple Sparkle scarf a few days back and didn't do much more than cast on my stitches. Started into it on Saturday night and got about six or so inches into the length and discovered a missed a stitch. THE HELL? So I tried catching it. The yarn and the rosewood needs were both too slippery and together is was a catch me if you can MESS. LOL. *sigh* I can laugh now anyways. I chased the stitch back a few rows then said FUNK it and just unravled all the yarn.
I started over. Last night around 8ish I think. Spent the evening thinking how this yarn would not defeat me and the next thing I know it's midnite - then 1 AM. :D I woke up this morning and picked up where I took off and now I'm into my second skein of yarn and it's looking very VERY good :)
I'm happy to say the Blonde Rock Star likes the scarf so far via pics and she approves of my KNIT-FU. I took a bunch of pics last night and just got them posted onto my RAVELRY page. I didn't have internet access at home so I had to wait till I got back to scearley 's
You know...he's already in bed. Before ME. I can hear him snoring away. I'm wrapping it up because well, I want to go lay down and get some shut eye. I have work tomorrow :)
I haven't completed everything I wanted to but I got a good chunk done and a bit done now as opposed to nothing at all is a good thing :)

PS I used my Barista Solo from
lokiz_mom aka @Jadedrain and I LOVED IT :D I didn't have my starbucks coffee on hand but that's ok I'm going to grind it up soon and then I can be brewin the real thing ;) Also...need to get some tullys brand as well :)
