So, never mind the crappy night I had at work last night, the worksheets for next week have just come in and I have a whole new problem.
On Monday (at 5.30 in the fricking morning, no less!) I'm supposed to be going to Cork for a job. Then Limerick the next day, and then Athlone the day after. Yes, that's three nights in Ireland. They'll be putting us up in hotels on the Tuesday and Wednesday, so it's not like we'll be travelling back and forth across the Irish Sea for three days, but it still poses something of a problem for me.
The problem being that I might have serious problems actually getting to the pick-up point (do the buses run that early?) and that I won't actually have any money for food or anything while I'm over there (I don't get paid till next Friday - the 13th - and Nick hasn't been paid yet - and even once he does, it won't actually be available for several days while it transfers). So what do I do?
Thing is, I'd actually like to go on this job. The pay's good - nearly £200 for three days - and hey, it's Ireland. Even if I'm stuck in a bloody minibus for most of the time, and either in a DIY warehouse or asleep for the rest of it, I've still not been in years and would enjoy the trip. If I can find some money in a hurry there's no problem, but otherwise...
