A couple of sites from people who seem to (a) live in a dream world and (b) want to control what everyone watches and reads because they don't want to take on the responsibility to bring up their children properly:
Holy Mother Starlight's article on Video Nasties and other controversies - she believes that there should be a new rating of '22' for videos, that Mulan is unsuitable for children because the heroine dresses up as a boy (does that mean that some of Shakesphere's plays are equally depraved?), and that The Running Man could become a reality. Oh my.
MediaMarch - they organise marches to protest the depravity on our screens. They claim they represent all faiths, but I only found references to Christian groups and a token reference to the Muslim Council of Britain.
Mediawatch-UK - Mary Whitehouse's baby. *shudder* This has perhaps the best one: earlier this month the ITC ruled that two programmes on Living TV (Crossing Over and 6ixth Sense) were in breach of regulations - because they presented the occult as factual rather than entertainment, and could be potentially damaging to children. Seriously, how?
And they say that religion isn't involved in these decisions...
