Discordianism - the faith of choice for lunatics everywhere! Or to be more specific, a chaos-based religion which I have followed for a little over three years now.
Dawn of the Dead - the 1978 version is my favourite movie ever.
Depression - suffered from it since I was 14, and in fact have days when I can't actually remember what it was like to not suffer from depression. Of course, things would probably have gone a lot better if I hadn't had to wait five years to actually start getting any sort of treatment, but I digress...
Debt - something I expect I will be in for a very long time...
Dymphna - my mother's name. Also the name of the patron saint of the insane, whose feast day is my elder niece's birthday. I like the syncronicity.
Discworld - the universe in which Terry Pratchett's books are set. Pratchett's books are just about the only fantasy books I can actually read without getting bored every twenty or so pages - it's not for lack of trying, but I've never even gotten past page 55 of The Hobbit...
Dinner - something I am apparently now the provider of to several local cats, if the gathering in our back yard this evening was any indication.
Dancing - believe it or not, but I actually used to be a dancer. I did ballet, tap and modern, and performed in stage shows (I generally stood out, because I hit my growth spurt very early and therefore would tower over the other seven and eight-year-olds in my line). I sometimes miss it.
Doctors - I don't trust them.
Dogs - I grew up with dogs, and so have never been scared of them (even though a corgi once nearly took off my thumb and I was chased by a laborador with a really bad attitude). It therefore usually falls to me to protect Nick from any dogs that pass him in the street.
