Asymptotically Approaching Insufferable.

I took an advanced Excel 2007 class yesterday. All of my Mad Excel Skillz have up until now been self-taught/scavanged from the intarwebs, so I was really excited (way too excited) about getting a little formal education on the matter.

Well, I'd say about 40-50% of the day was useful to me. Actually not too bad - I only corrected the teacher a couple times, and it was for really nit-picky stuff. I cut the guy some slack in that he mostly teaches Excel 2003 classes and was probably just dealing with having to translate in his head between the two.

The one thing we didn't go over enough to my liking was macros. I am really kind of skittish around macros! My only exposure to programming was one semester of visual basic in high school, and all the html fussing I did between 1995 and 1998.

But! I just totally debugged a formatting/content adding macro I just made for a series of spreadsheets that are essentially clones on top of clones.

Woo!

(Small victories, I know. But still!)

In other news, Junebug is currently on four different drugs to combat Mystery Swelling of the Face. She's much better already, but I still have to figure out how to get the prednisone, de-worming goo, liquid benadryl, and liquid antibiotic down her throat without her freaking the heck out on us. This is the same cat that took three vet techs and one of those pill plunger things to get one pill down her throat. Yeesh.
