[Juudai is sitting against a wall, hugging Hane Kuriboh tightly, his face buried in its brown fur. It looks unhappy as well, unable to do anything for him as it is, and simply continues to offer its presence as solace. After a moment, though, it wriggles out of his grasp and pokes at his duel disk with one paw curiously, which is laying seemingly innocuously on a table in a corner.]
...Aibou?
[He watches it glance from the disk to Juudai and back again as though trying to indicate something to him. He can't seem to comprehend what it's trying to point out, though -- until the thing activates of its own accord, extending its features and knocking Hane Kuriboh away.]

Huh? How--
[And a surprised yelp as it leaps up and attacks him (somehow), almost smacking him in the face. He whips his arm up to defend himself at the last moment, though, and seemingly inadvertently deflects the oncoming technology with a layer of shielding dark energy. The duel disk falls to the ground, and he kicks it away frantically as Hane Kuriboh floats back over behind him.]
W-Wha... that...
[After a moment of stunned staring, Juudai hurries to his feet and scrambles into another room. For the observant, a muttered "If it's not one thing, it's another" can be heard as he scurries away.]
