It really does. But I think the writing structure will be better? Since everything's running together, rather than one plot bit following another plot bit. But then, it's still a lot of stuff, so yessss, this could be bigger than Searching. Haha, I thought that was going to be at most 30k. XD;;; *Is never going to make a rough estimate again. For a month anyway.*
I got to the fifth, and that was a couple of weeks after it'd been released, so I was very confused by something that got revealed and thought I'd missed something. Turned out, no, I hadn't - the bit of information really did come out of nowhere. (It makes sense, but I'd have rather had Yakumo find the information out while we're watching, rather than Yakumo stating it.)
The series takes a darker turn in the seventh episode and...I'm not really invested? I like Yakumo as a character, but there's a lot of interconectiveness happening at the moment that I keep reading as contrived. 'Wait, so if you're [blah] then does that mean you're related to [blah2]? Oh! [Blah2] sent [blah3] something, and this piece of evidence reveals that [blah3] was in contact with [blah4], who is the person that we're chasing right now!' THERE WERE A LOT OF NAMES IN THIS EPISODE.
I like fate stuff in time travel (though that's more Stable Time Loop), but in other genres, I guess I don't?
Having different threads running together will be awesome. Love that in stories (though it's too much for my poor brain to come up with in stories I write). XD;
I don't quite remember what happened in the 1st 4 episodes I watched of Yakumo... I think there were some suspicious people who showed up...
