Still making my way through The Fire in Fiction. At the end of each chapter, there's little exercises you can do. The chapter I'm on is about making the reader believe in the impossible.
So, one question is 'What is the most improbable event in your novel?'
Magical portals randomly opening up and dumping beings from other planets.
The next question is 'List twenty reasons why in the real world this event would not occur. What prevents it? Who stops it?'

Oh! Oh! And guess what? Alex finally has a name! \o/ And it's Shoden. And I have a feeling I'm going to have lots of typos of Showden and Snoden. ^ ^;;
