Never actually thought about it, but after the comments I got for Creative Writing I went and checked something in my fanfics.
In a lot of my fanfics, I don't establish a setting before-hand - I just go straight into the 'action', if there is any, or a conversation. Huh.
Eheheh. Finished another Half Prince fic. Longest one-shot I've done, and I've just noticed that most of my one-shots are usually around about five-hundred words.
Now I just need to figure out if they're in character, and if Gui's speech mannerisms are right. ;p
