Icons!

Mar 03, 2005 14:23

Three different sets today.

Set 1 - 7x Avril Lavigne
Set 2 - 16x Harry, 12x Harry/Draco
Set 3 - 21x Chester (Linkin Park)

I have a story I wish to share first though...

I made the first set (Avril) Tuesday afternoon, with whatever photoshop knowledge I had at the time (ie, not a whole lot!). Then, I worked out how to do a few more things, and so the second set (Harry, Harry/Draco) were done that night. THEN, I spent some time yesterday (Wednesday) browsing random tutorial sites and communities and picked some tips (like, picking out Chester's lips to make them more prominant!) and learnt a few more tricks (like, layering a gazillion gradients at different blend modes), and so began the third set (Chester). About half way through that set, I had this brush which I really wanted to use. I knew how I wanted it (my userpic now), but didn't think I could do it! Anyhow, I spent probably half an hour developing that icon, making it exactly how I wanted, playing with all these features I never knew existed, it was grea! Yes, I'm a geek.

So, what I'm trying to say is that this icon post is quite exceptional, in that you can see the improvement in the quality over a single 24hr period. Am I the only one sad enough to think that that is cool?!

(WARNING - 20+ icons, may take a while to load)

Whew, 56 icons! I never realised there were that many! Though, in all honesty, most are just variations, so...
Anyhow, tell me what you think, comments required MUCHLY (I'm nervous about posting these!). If you're taking, tell me which ones. Each has it's own style, I like to see which is popular.

Enjoy!
