My Gothed Out Saturday
So, I went to the Metro this Saturday with Terry & a bunch of my friend to see The Cruxshadows, Ego Likeness, and Ayria. All three bands rock. And to find out more about them, check out their Myspace pages.
I've been to many different concerts & seen the likes of Metallica, Godsmack, Evanescence, Rob Zombie, and Alice Cooper but I can say in all honesty I've never been to a better concert then Cruxshadows. the lead singer, Rogue, really loves the fans. And he shows it by completly immersing himself in the crowd. When he's not on the edge of the stage clasping hands with everyone in front of the stage, he's actually performing in the middle of the crowd. It was amazing.
Then, to top it all off, during the final song of the night Rogue went & grabbed a chair from the back, and put it at the front of the stage then proceded to help almost everyone that was there up onto stage with him & the band. Terry & I were among the group of people on stage with them & it was an awesome experience for me. I never thought I'd be on stage at the Metro but there I was. It was alot of fun.
After the show, Rogue was in the hallway signing autographs & taking pictures with the fans. He's an incredible guy. You can tell he really loves his fans and is greatful for each & every one of them. Both Terry & I got our pictures taken with him & we got an autograph.
I also met the lead singer of Ayria, Jennifer who is a native of Canada, and I told her how much I liked their set. Coincidently, when I told her this was my first time at the Metro she told me it was her first time too.
All in all, it was a hell of a time. I would love to see all three bands in concert again, especially The Cruxshadows. They are an incredible band with alot of energy & kick ass music.
