They just don't get it.
Well, I was put on the scheduale to work another day I booked off. Well, if they want me to work I have to come in late. I'm gonna call on Saturday to tell them that they have to fix it because it is out of my hands. They put me on to work on Tuesday, but I can't because I have that band try-out thing for school, and we don't go until 3:50, and my shifts start at 3:45, and by the time I get my bass, or at least drop it off at someone's house, get on a bus, and get for work, it will be at least 4:40 or 5:00. There wouldn't be much of a point. I also had to book off the 21st because the actual performance is then. They just don't understand the concept of booking time off I guess. Yeah, I had to work yesterday, the day before Easter..and the manager only put two cashiers on the scheduale. Yeah, so we were pretty swamped, and I got into the cash office to cash out at like 9:15. it was ridiculous, and the hockey game was on. I barely had any of my debits and stuff counted..In total I had over 2600, which is insanely high. And over 700 in credit cards, which is also very high. Yeah, well, at least I get paid for Friday and Sunday because they are holidays.
Oh, and I missed a party because of work too, which really kinda pissed me off because I don't really go to any parties and well, the first time I wanted to go I couldn't. I got out so late that I couldn't even drop by - although I don't think it would have mattered very much because the majority would probably be pretty drunk,high or both by the time I got there. I just wanted to go really because my friends were performing for fun. Oh well.
Well, I had best start getting to work on my stuff. Let's see, today I am going to go for a walk after this, because I feel like clearing my head, finish my application, finish some emails, clear out the little things in my computer, and then I don't know. I did clear out my computer yesterday after work. Deleted some stuff, corrected some files, defragmented, system checked, lots of stuff, and with my computer it took a really look time. At least now everything is running a lot quicker then before. So, I guess it was a success.
