It's my first post and they're already asking for a subject?
I would just like to use my opening line(s) to state a philosophy I have:
Since it is impossible to make stupidity illegal, I believe that people should have to pay me in order to be dumbasses in my presence. I don't think it's too much to ask. (Anyone who doesn't know me who reads this will think I'm a huge pessimist who hates everyone and the world...that's kinda funny lol.)
Point being, people are stupid too often. I promise you, if everyone in the world just took a couple of seconds to consider what they're about to say or do before they say/do it, everyone would be a lot happier. I'm not asking for an abolishment of stupidity. Just that people think before they speak and act.
For the record, I am most likely going to use this little corner of the internet to ramble on about dumb little things that most likely only I (and maybe a few of my close friends) will ever care about.
On a more positive note, things look very good for "Combat Evolved" (the card game that Hans, Owen and myself have been working like crazy on.) We had out first tournament this past Tuesday, and we actually had a good time and everything went fairly smoothly. I was very pleased. The second set of cards promises to make the game an even more enjoyable experience, adding new twists to the already exciting gameplay. Anyone who is interested in learning a new (and better...yes, I said better) Trading Card Game and who can get to Comic Connection at least once every week or two is encouraged to contact me either at Comic Connection or PM'ing me through my website (Gaming Sanctuary...follow the link.) Also, both college and my job are going very well. They're tiring me out, but it's all worth it.
I would like to close by saying that every time I remember that George "Jesus" Bush is going to be our President for next four years, I shudder and a slight feeling of dread comes over me. It will truly be a happy day when everyone in the country stops blinding themselves to the truth and realizes how much he has destroyed this country and its people.
