I am finally done. Beer and thank you notes transfered to where they should go, new officers voted in, and sushi eaten. Feels ... about the same as it did before, only with fewer excuses for procrastination than before.

I've had some fun chatting and flirting with someone I met recently. Too bad about the age gap (I don't in particular mind, but I have no clue how she feels about slightly younger men). On the other hand, she ain't the only fish in the sea, and it's not like I like to put all my eggs in one basket without even knowing if there's a possibility. As it is one girl already shut me down hardcore last semester when she found out I was planning to take some time off from school: "But if you weren't here, well, that would be weird". Which, of course, leaves random encounters [and we all know how many of those I'm having lately, a number somewhere between zero and zero =)]. We'll see what happens in the future, though it's certainly fun to talk and flirt with people, even if they'd never date you. This is essentially because, except when they suck, interesting people rock.

DVD iso of Fedora Core 5 being downloaded as I post. I looked into trying Kubuntu again but decided against since the Ubuntu people voted to push the next release back to June 1 to add spit an polish to their first "enterprise quality" release (and also making a switch in numbering convention from 6.04 to 6-06 -- see if you can figure out how and why that happens =p).

24 ounces of coffee is a lot. Especially if it's not particularly good coffee. Like beer, you don't buy coffee, you rent it.

I was hoping to get up to the Jack-and-Jill this weekend, but Friday is the prospie grad student beer-and-bbq/chug practice (not exactly a wine-and-dine, but the visit to the Village does get reimbursed). Ah well, perhaps another time.

I did a bit of work last night, read up some more on a couple of things that I was quite ignorant of. I even started collating data like I should have a week ago. Let's see how much gets done tonight.

dating, ubuntu, fedora core, linux, work, girls, food
