I was standing in front of my dorm, waiting to cross the street on my way to class. I wasn't even close to the edge, and while looking in the opposite direction a red pick up truck swerved closer to me to drive through the puddle of slush and ice and therefore splash me.

Besides the odd noises going on in the attic above us... My room mate's fridge just died. It usually hums really, really loud and now it's all silent and stuff and kind of scary.

It's also unusually chilly in here... I better make my way across the room very carefully (pitch black in here right now yo!) and turn the heat on....

All moved in and settled... Tonight I stepped outside my little box and not only did I socialize, I went to a Yoga class with my room mate and some hall mates. It was fun. I'm happier already, I really think this is going to work :)
