Praise the Mail Gods!
The mail gods were smiling on me today. I took a walk down to the mailbox around 3:30 ("It's probably not here yet," Dad said as I left the house). So I get down to the mailbox without being run over by a car (or a school bus) and stick in the key, turn it, open the box and what do my eyes see? Three packages! The white one on top was The Whomping Willows "Welcome to the House of Awesome" and when I saw it I said, "Awwww, Matt!" (momentarily forgetting that I had preordered the album months ago) The second package was all the way from Hawaii...Yay Sue and the Hufflepuffs (I'll listen to that one when I'm done listening to The Whomping Willows") Package number three was the digital voice recorder I ordered off ebay. I'll probably test it out/play around with it a bit later this week. I still have to finish destroying my room....
Guess where I am... Outside on the front lawn in the sun!!! Shocking I know. I'm not even sitting in the shade to work on my pale. Nope, I'm in the sun to try and get a healthy glow (rolls eyes). Actually I'm just out here 'cause it's freakin cold in the house!
Note to self: Spy on neighbors so you can ask them for the password to their wireless....
