Where Have You Been?
Think of Molly Weasley from the second HP movie and reread the title.... Tee hee...
Anyway, from the time I got home on Friday and unloaded my life from my mother's van until today I have been completely trashing my room. If you thought it was bad before, you ain't seen nothin' yet! (B-baby you just ain't seen nothin' yet!) I emptied my desk drawers and got rid of the junk in my dresser. Everything that was under my bed is now in the garbage or in a the middle of my room with a big box. My tv stand that acts as a book case is now holding my books to read this summer instead of them being on the floor in front of it and the saddest part of all.... I took down my HP Christmas Tree. But I have plans to make my room more HP than before. I have too much HP Stuff for the "Shrine" in my closet (one shelf on a book case) and have decided to rearrange my room as such that I can fit a book shelf at the foot of my bed and fill it with all my HP and Wizard Rock stuff. I'm excited. Also my over the bed shelf that I used at school will be going up above my tv stand/bookcase (because my desk is too wide) and I will be hanging my HP ornaments from it as well as use the shelf for other stuff.
Speaking of cleaning places...I went with my dad to my grandma's house today. It's a little sad going in there and seeing a lot of her stuff gone. She lived in that house for soooooo long and it's slowly becoming just another house. Grandma is doing fine in the assisted living home, but she is getting a bit worse mentally. It's a good thing she's there, now we don't have to worry about her as much. Aunt Kay and Uncle Dave come in on Wednesday and I'm pretty excited. Last time they came home I was stuck working all that week and wasn't able to see them much. Granted they'll only be here for three days but at least I won't be working.
Today I am going crawling to my neighbors to see if I can use their wireless internet. I just don't get a reliable enough signal in the house. It cuts in and out (can't complain since we're not paying for it and have no idea who's it is...) but I can't record my podcast with ___ if I can't connect to Skype or the internet for more than 5 minutes at a time. Maybe after I post this I'll go see if Lyn is home...
Bagpipes tonight. I'm nervous and excited. I can't wait to see the Akron and District people. I hope Joey will be there for once (so I can finally) give him his Christmas present... lol. I wonder what kind of clapping exercises we'll do tonight *rolls eyes* Hopefully they'll be able to pick me up where John left off and help me work with the pipes more before Ohio Scottish Arts School this June. That's enough for now, I figure that's long enough considering I haven't posted in three or four days... and I need to go crawling on my hands and knees to one or two of my neighbors to mooch off their internet...
