Rainy Wednesday

I got splashed by a car on the way to English today. It wasn't fun. But my paper survived, so it's all good.

But that's not why I'm excited (despite the fact that I love rain). The mail gods are smiling upon me this week. According to mum I got another cd, she wasn't sure about the return address so I'm guessing it's the Hollow Godric album I ordered. Also the shirts I ordered from Threadless came to the house and the awesome Dropkick Murphys shoes I ordered from Hot Topic will probably come in either today or tomorrow. Also, the wand I ordered from The Mudblood Brothers came today. It is pretty darn awesome! I'm excited, I can't wait to give it to my cousin, even though I want to keep it for myself! Go buy a wand, they look great, are only $20 (including shipping!) and are going towards a good cause. To help purchase new recording equipment so the band can carry on. And to top it all off, the Wizard Rock EP of the month club albums for March and April, The Remus Lupins(yay Alex!) and Remus and the Lupins shipped on Monday, so they'll probably show up in the mailbox (at home) either today or tomorrow. So excited. Which means, by this weekend I will have three more albums to listen to/add to my collection!

Although I'm starting to think the Mudblood (different from the above mentioned band) album I ordered over a month ago either was never shipped or got lost in the mail. The payment showed up on my last bank statement, so I know they got the money, I'm just waiting on the album. If it's not here (or the house rather) by Sunday then I'm e-mailing them with my "WTF?" Because I really like their music, but I don't want to be out $12...

I, Ashley Farrar, have a problem. I cannot resist a paypal button on a wizard rock site. Some would call it a curse (my group of friends for example) others, a blessing (? an entertaining addiction at least...Rory feels my pain...or maybe those are hunger pains...!) So, all mighty gods of the US Postal Service, please allow my cds to arrive safely to my house with minimal damage and maximum wrocking potential. Amen.

Live, Laugh, Love,

update: I got an envelope of news clippings with $1 from my dad and the hot topic stuff arrived at the house. Whoot!
