To Dance, or Not to Dance? That is the Question...
I'm torn about going to hp-ohio's Crystal Ball this year. The date was released late, and I need to be thinking about saving money rather than spending it. Tom was originally going to come with had the date been this previous Friday. But since he's got a big track meet on the 30th he can't come with. The discounted single tickets are no longer available, but the couples tickets are still discounted until the 16th. So I'm basically trying to make up my mind about staying home or to find a date by then...
Emotionally, I'm torn. The past two balls have been a blast, and now that I'm legal I don't have to sneak drinks from a flask at the ball (although I enjoyed the shots and mixed drinks at the pool party and pre-ball giddiness). I really miss everyone and would like to spend more than an hour or two with the gang. I want to go, and I have a dress, but it's all the details that are deterring me. I'd need a ride, a place to stay, money, booze, a date, a place for my date to stay? And I need it all for cheap.
Too bad money doesn't grow on trees, and we all can't just apparate to where we want to go...
