Sweet peas - perrenial or annual? I've got perrenials that get a little rowdier every year. They're about a yard up the wall right now, and one of them looks it like might be Tarzan-accessible.

Hi Steve.

These Sweet Peas are annuals, from seeds. From what I've learned (from hard experience), most perennials are hard to grow from seed. So if you grew yours from seeds, what a green thumb you have!

I'd love to have perennials, myself, seems like they get a jumpstart every season.

I grew them from a packet of seeds I picked up at a grocery store. I put the seeds in the ground and watered. Three years passed and nothing happened. On the third year a six inch sweet pea sprouted. Big deal. Every year since it seems to have doubled and spread.

I don't know if that's a green thumb or dumb luck.
