I thought this was a fun episode. It's a shame we didn't actually get 1955 flashbacks to see Hal, Pearl and Leo in their early days but as a unit, I found them believable and sad that the came apart, though was totally expecting it as well.

Annie went overboard with the messiah banter with Eve but her actions were understandable and the clashing of sorts with Pearl was interesting enough. I have to admit I found myself siding with Pearl quite a bit though.

Hal and Tom's banter was interesting enough - they're definitely not a rethread of George and Mitchell and that's nice. Both also had some points to make that were valid on their beliefs as well.

Hal's dark side is interesting to watch - the scenes with Annie, Eve and the pawn shop owner more than explained why he was kept away from people and the routines he did by Leo and Pearl. He's going to need them living with Annie and Tom as well.

Interesting to see that woman manipulating both Leo and Hal this week. Who will she try to coerce next week?

Liking the Cutler vs. Fergus dynamic as well as the latter's reaction to Hal being in town, 8/10.
