First: the word "leitmotiv" was playing in my head this afternoon and I realized I had no idea what it meant, except that it was vaguely german-ish and related to art somehow. Yeah, I adore death as well. Mostly because she's so cool and behaves in precisely the opposite manor you'd think she would.

Wow, postcards are effective. I just this morning got an e-mail from Joyce the FP about the one I sent her. I should do this more often ;-).

I wrote a paper about a bit of Wagner sophomore year. It was very slow going because everything *could* be a leitmotif but since he changes them sometimes depending on what's happening, you can never be quite sure...
